AILMENT RECOMMENDATIONS AND SAFE USE

BLENDS

Blends are a formulation of carrier oils, such as apricot oil with essential oils, such as Lavender and Sandalwood added. These blends are safe to be directly applied onto the skin and are absorbed through the hair follicles and pore openings to be transported into the blood and lymphatic system. Suitable for young and old, day to day routine. When you have a physical aiment, apply a physical blend, i.e. sore muscles, acne etc.

SYNERGIES 

Synergies are a formulation of essential oils only, such as, geranium, ylang ylang and orange. These synergies can be used in burners, diffusers (remember to add water); inhalation - either directly sniff from the bottle or use 2 drops over water or a few drops on a tissue, use a few drops in your shower or bath. For sleep, just add a drop on each side of the pillow every other day. When you wake up in the night, have a wee sniff, then back to sleep you go.

AROMATHERAPY SPRAYS

Aromaflex aromatherapy sprays use Lavender Hydrosol as the water base before adding essential oils. You can then use these sprays on yourself, hands for hygiene, around the house, on your linen etc. E.g. The headache migraine spray, you spray around the head as you feel the onset of a headache coming on.

HYDROSOLS

Hydrosols is an aromatherapy chemistry term meaning 'water solution'. Aromaflex hydrosols are sourced from NZ only, are safe to use on the skin and very effective for gargling - oral hygiene, for spraying on sunburn - to heal, cool the skin, or just to refreshen the skin, i.e. as a toner.

CLAYS

Clays are an effective way of cleaning the skin or for drawing out impurities. An excellent remedy for white tail spider bites is to use green clay, with tea tree hydrosol, then a few drops of german chamomile. This is very effective in reducing the poison from spreading and preventing further infection.

AROMATHERAPY COMPRESS

For recent sprain or injuries: Mix 3 to 6 drops of essential oil to 1 cup of cool water and mix well. Dampen a soft cloth with mixture and apply to affected area. Use cling wrap to seal moisture in, then cover with cold towel. Leave for two hours. For an old injury, repeat the above, but replace the cold water and towels for warm water. This is effected for old injury swelling or pain caused from old injury.

DIRECT INHALATION FROM BOTTLE

Short bursts, no more than 3 sniffs from each nostril. Normally safe and simple, but do not sniff too hard, i.e. with Peppermint, as this will cause your eyes to water.
