Background Story: This synergy was formulated for the birth of Shelley's second child, Caitlin. It was a home birth, in Whitianga, NZ where it is remote, and the nearest hospital was in Thames. Home births were not so common in the 1990s, and in Scotland, to have a home birth, costs a lot of money. This synergy was created to help with strengthening the contractions, help with the breathing and to assist with the focus and stress of the labour intensive pains and process. Also the anxiety around the birth, as each delivery can be different. It was a success, and has been a successful synergy over many years, helping many many women with their birth.
How to Use: Use a few drops in the bath and birthing pool. Can sniff directly from the bottle inbetween contractions. Use a few drops in a carrier oil Calendula Oil – Aromaflex on the lower back, and also around the ankles where the reflex points of the uterus and overies are found. Add a few drops in a diffuser in the room or add a few drops to a hydrosol Aromatherapy NZ | Rose Hydrosol – Aromaflex to spray around the birthing mum.
