Rose Essential Oil as a Natural Substitute is described below:
Rose can be distilled in two ways,
1. Absolute
2. steam distillation -
Both these ways are to extract the chemistry, such as the monoterpenes, lineol, alcohols etc.
Extracting these natural chemistry components from other natural plants such as Geranium that produces similar chemistry, these can be split into multiple materials and then joined back together to produce a rose essential oil. This reconstitution can also be taken from other plants such as palmarosa, and used in the same proportion as the Rose essential oil.
