History
Eucalyptus radiata is native to south-eastern Australia and commonly known as Narrow-Leaved Peppermint. Eucalyptus australiana is an older botanical synonym still familiar in the essential-oil trade. Eucalyptus leaves have long been appreciated for their powerful aroma, and the distilled oils became important fragrance, household and personal-care materials.
