About This Essential Oil

Dill Seed Essential Oil is steam distilled from the ripe fruits commonly called seeds. It has a warm, sweet and gently spicy fragrance with herbaceous and lightly earthy notes. Dill seed oil and dill weed oil are distinct materials with different aromatic and chemical profiles, so the plant part should always be identified on the product documentation.

History

Dill has been cultivated for thousands of years across the Mediterranean, Western Asia and later Europe.
