History

Cinnamon Bark has been produced in Sri Lanka for over 2,000 years and remains one of the world's most treasured spices. It is considered one of the strongest antimicrobial essential oils in aromatherapy. Historically it has been valued for its warming, cleansing, and preservative qualities.

Researchers have noted that many microorganisms struggle to survive in the presence of Cinnamon oil. Cinnamon also appears in biblical references, including Proverbs 7:17: 'I have perfumed my bed with myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon.'
