History
Daucus carota has a long history as a cultivated and wild plant across Europe and neighbouring regions. Its aromatic seeds are steam distilled to produce a concentrated essential oil used in fragrance and cosmetic formulations. Carrot Seed Essential Oil is chemically and functionally different from vegetable oils and extracts made from carrot roots or seeds.
