Background Story
Sweet Almond Oil has been valued for thousands of years and was known to the Romans as 'Greek Nuts'. The botanical name Prunus refers to the plum family, while dulcis means 'sweet' in Latin. Almond trees originated in the Middle East and Asia before spreading throughout the Mediterranean region and eventually into Europe.
