Thieves Synergy was inspired by the famous legend of the Four Thieves and the origins of what has become known as Thieves Oil. The story is linked to the time of the Bubonic Plague in Europe, with versions of the legend appearing between the 1400s and 1600s.
According to the story, four thieves robbed the sick and the dead during the plague yet somehow managed to avoid becoming ill themselves. Legend suggests they protected themselves using a blend of aromatic herbs and spices, including Clove, Cinnamon, Rosemary, Lemon, and other botanicals.
