History
Palmarosa is a close botanical cousin of Citronella and Lemongrass. Traditionally used in India, it was added to baths and massage blends to help ease neuralgia, lumbago, sciatica, and rheumatic discomfort. It was also traditionally used to support digestive wellbeing.
Historically, Palmarosa was sometimes used to adulterate Rose Oil because of its sweet floral aroma. Today it remains highly valued in perfumery and skincare due to its gentle nature and skin-supportive properties.
