About This Aromatic Blend
True Neroli Essential Oil is steam distilled from the delicate blossoms of the bitter orange tree, Citrus × aurantium var. amara. Thousands of flowers are required to produce a small quantity of oil, making genuine Neroli exceptionally precious and costly. This natural substitute is composed from plant-derived aromatic materials chosen to recreate Neroli's elegant floral-citrus character without claiming to be oil distilled from orange blossoms.

Background
Neroli takes its name from Anne Marie Orsini, Princess of Nerola, who helped popularise the fragrance of bitter orange blossom in seventeenth-century Europe. Genuine Neroli remains important in fine perfumery, but its low yield and labour-intensive production make it expensive. Natural substitute blends offer perfumers a consistent Neroli-style fragrance; however, sustainability or ethical-sourcing claims must be supported by documentation for every ingredient and supplier.
Main Aromatic Components
The blend may draw on linalool, linalyl acetate, limonene, nerolidol and trace floral materials from sources such as Ho Wood, Lavender, Petitgrain, Coriander Seed and citrus oils.
