While the carrot plant itself has been valued medicinally for centuries, the essential oil gained popularity from the 16th century onwards, particularly for skin care applications. Today it is widely recognised for its use in mature skin formulations and wellness applications. Carrot Seed contains naturally occurring carotene and is associated with maintaining healthy skin, hair, teeth, and gums.
