The best way to learn Reflexology is with lot of hands on. You are taught how to give an effective foot massage, and how to find and feel the foundation reflex points on both feet. This will then enable students to perform a Reflexology treatment effectively on family and friends, complete their assignment case study work, so that they can then receive their NZQA Level 4 Certificate in Introduction to Reflexology. You may choose to stop here or use this course as the first step towards getting your Diploma in Reflexology.

The Diploma in Reflexology can either be studied in on or two years as a full time training programme or part time training programme.
Students will need to start with an equivalent of Introduction to Reflexology first (unless recognition of prior learning can be shown).
The classes run for 3 weeks of every year. Beginning on a Monday, through to Friday. The 3 weeks are spaced out throughout the year, to give students enough time to complete their workbooks and case study work before coming back to Nelson to study for another week. This course cannot be done correspondence as there is too much hands on work to study, covering over 70 reflexes in the feet, reflexes in the hands and ears.
Students will need to study the Anatomy and Physiology, or have recognition of prior learning first. If you want to break the learning down into 2 years, it is recommended you start the A&P course first. (see enrolment brochure for further details).
This comprehensive learning programme is one of the most sought after in the world, having both National and various International accreditations. Students will now sit, both the Aromaflex Academy Exams, giving them IFPA & RAC recognition, and now they will also sit ITEC exams, giving graduates further career pathway options. This Academy is unique in offering such two highly sought after International acredations under one roof, and in Nelson.
Student loans are available to NZ & Australian Students.
